Problems we assess
- No power or unexpected shutdowns
- Charging faults after cables and replaceable parts have been checked
- No display, no touch or intermittent operation
- No signal, SIM detection issues or unavailable Wi-Fi
- Restart loops and liquid-damaged boards
These symptoms can have several causes. Diagnosis comes first; they do not automatically mean a board repair is needed.
What microsoldering means
Microsoldering is precision work on the small components and connections of a circuit board. Instead of replacing the entire board by default, we trace the fault and assess whether the affected area can be repaired.
BoxLab brings over 20 years in cellphone repair and around 10 years in microsoldering to this work.
Repair or data recovery?
If keeping your files is more important than getting the device back into daily use, tell us first. We can assess the job with data recovery as the priority.
Know the options before proceeding
Send the model, symptoms and repair history. We discuss the diagnostic terms and explain the proposed repair cost before proceeding. Feasibility and timing depend on the condition of the board and any required parts.
Mail-in service is available across Canada. Montréal–Laval drop-offs are arranged by appointment.
Questions before you send it
Can you fix every logic board?
No. The extent of damage, parts availability and previous work can limit what is possible. We explain the findings and available options after diagnosis.
Do you also handle screens and batteries?
Yes. BoxLab also handles everyday repairs. Describe the symptoms so we can discuss whether a standard repair or board-level assessment is appropriate.
